Yücel Partners is an architecture and design practice based in Istanbul and Ordu, with roots extending back to decades of experience in engineering, contracting, and the construction industry.

Founded in 2012 by architect Selahattin Yücel, Yücel Partners builds upon the engineering and contracting legacy of El-Mak Engineering, established in 1984 by Electrical Engineer Hüsnü Yücel and Mechanical Engineer İsmail Yücel.

Over the years, El-Mak Engineering has developed extensive experience across various areas of the construction industry, including mechanical and electrical systems design, transformer substations, electrical distribution systems, and contracting services. Today, the company continues to provide engineering services.

Building on this technical foundation and combining it with a contemporary approach to architecture and design, Yücel Partners provides architectural design, interior architecture, implementation, decoration, and project management services across projects of varying scales and functions, including residences, villas, hotels, retail spaces, offices, and food and beverage venues.

Working on both national and international projects, Yücel Partners approaches each project holistically, bringing together architectural design, engineering, implementation, and construction processes.

We approach each project in relation to its context, user needs, and functional requirements, giving careful consideration to every detail from the earliest stages of design through to implementation.

We believe that architecture is shaped by function as much as aesthetics, and we seek to establish a balanced relationship between functionality, spatial quality, and design. We consider each building’s relationship with its surroundings, while integrating material choices, energy use, and sustainability as natural parts of the design process.
